“Creative Anxiety” Workshop on Zoom!

I am excited to be teaching a new Zoom workshop called Creative Anxiety: Choosing from Possibilities. It happens on December 6 from 12 pm to 1:30 pm Pacific Time.

As always, if you can’t make it live, you will get a link to the video recording. And if you’re new to me, please know that my workshops are always introvert-friendly and sensitive-friendly spaces. There’s never any pressure to share, and you can always just come and listen.

For sensitive creatives, perfectionism can paralyze us. As people who see possibilities everywhere, we can also feel overwhelmed by them. They can make us feel like a deer in the headlights. 

And our overthinking mind – the same mind that helps us process things deeply – can cause us to spin in place. It can cause us to ruminate.   

What if I do this wrong? 

What if I make the wrong choice? 

Which path is the correct path? 

On the one hand, we long to be creative. 

We long to make things. 

We long to express ourselves. 

But we also find that trying to practice our creativity brings up a lot of resistance inside us. It ties us up in knots. 

In this workshop, we will learn how to calm creative anxiety and reconnect with our inner guidance, so we can trust ourselves to choose the next right thing. 

Expect a mix of reflection, helpful ideas and nourishing conversation. This is for intuitive, imaginative people who feel deeply AND create from that deep place. 

If you’ve been stuck between ideas, unsure of which way to turn, or are just feeling overwhelmed by all the possibilities – you’ll leave with a clearer sense of how to tune into yourself, a more compassionate relationship with your creative process, and practical ideas you can use.
